The chocolate remains one of the early favourites.</p> <p>These fish were shown at BAS 2002, and make a regular appearance on the show benches. These are typical Far Eastern fish: note the lack of depth in the body, the well forked tail and the shorter fins, compared with the more developed strains below.</p> <p align="center">[<a href="#top">Top</a>]</p> <h4>Red-white metallic orandas</h4> <p align="center"><img src="red_oranda_2001.jpg" alt="young red oranda" width="275" height="200" border="0"></p> <p>Young, well proportioned oranda with good red colour but lacking colour in the paired fin extremities, which is extremely common in twintail fish.
